The Sam Phillips Music Celebration 2011

The Sam Phillips Music Celebration began in 2005 in honor of Legendary Sun Records founder Sam Phillips. Produced by Big River Broadcasting, Sam’s event takes place in his hometown areas of Florence and Muscle Shoals, AL. From 2005-2009 our event took place at the Marriott Shoals Conference Center.

2010 saw Sam’s event grow in interest and attendance, which caused us to look for a larger venue. The Downtown Florence area was chosen for a Rockin’ 21 and over outdoor street party.

The open air downtown location was so well received by attendees and artists that we are happy to offer the event again on Court Street for 2011.

Keep The Shoals Beautiful helps us produce green events in the Shoals Area.

Local Cause: Shoals Scholar Dollars Program

The Sam Phillips Music Organization is proud to be partnering with “Shoals Scholar Dollars” Program in an effort to raise awareness and support. This program is designed for students who may have limited financial options to continue education beyond high school in the Shoals Area.
